Ashley Hardcastle
Registered Massage Therapist
Ashley completed her Massage Therapy training in Ontario, Canada with an advanced diploma from Sir Sandford Fleming College in 2006. Following her passion she focused her career on the medical approach to therapy. Being an athlete herself, Ashley has put a larger focus of her work towards sports. She has worked with a wide variety of athletes ranging from elite and professional athletes to children. With great passion to help others and the love for the medical world she returned to school in 2010 to complete her pre-health science program followed by Registered Practical Nursing. Before diving into her Nursing career, Ashley moved to Cayman to experience travel and culture. Arriving in Cayman in 2013, she decided to stay and make Cayman her home.
Elaine Shalvey
Registered Massage Therapist
Elaine is a Neuromuscular Therapist and Orthopaedic Sports Massage Therapist with 14 years of clinical and elite spa experience. She has treated a diverse range of clients, from athletes to the general public. She completed her training at both the renowned National Training Centre and the Holistic College, in Dublin, Ireland, and is licensed to practice in both Ireland and here in the Cayman Islands, where she has
lived for the past 7 years.
Specialising in Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release and Sports Massage, Elaine can intuitively locate and release deep seated tensions throughout the body. By combining a trained touch and instinctual feel, Elaine utilises advanced techniques in soft tissue therapy and deep tissue massage to effectively manage both minor and chronic pain issues. This facilitates healing and balance within the body, releases adhesions, increases mobility and improves the human immune response. She also has a particular interest in treating sciatica, low back pain, plantar fasciitis, TMJ and neck & shoulder disfunction. Elaine crafts a personalised, deeply soothing session that can range from interactive, structure specific treatment and rehabilitation, to full body relaxation. Even prior to her career as a massage therapist in 2007, Elaine had a keen interest in health, wellness, and movement therapies. She is currently training for her Pilates Matwork Instructor qualification with Balanced Body and teaches an expansive repertoire of rehabilitative exercises. Outside of the clinic you will find Elaine either by the ocean or beneath it. She loves being on the beach with her beloved dog Smurf, or freediving and swimming in Caymans’ beautiful waters.
